Go-Green Gardening

Not only does this extra mural teach about the importance of a healthy diet and nutrition, but helps develop valuable life skills like responsibility and caring for the environment. When planting vegetables, flowers, fruits, and herbs, scholars have the opportunity to learn about the different types of plants and their growing requirements. Furthermore, gardening helps develop fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.

Little Chefs

Why this Extra Mural is imporant:

Extra mural activities like cooking teaches of different types of foods, their nutritional value, and the benefits of eating a balanced diet. Scholars learn about different textures, colours, and flavours of food, and how to combine them to create delicious and healthy meals. It's a fun and creative activity that allows scholars to explore and experiment with ingredients and cooking techniques. It forms a positive attitude towards food and healthy eating habits.

Sports

Why this extra mural it's important:

We explore a variety of sports to encourage scholars to find the sports they enjoy and develop their motor skills at the same time. Coaches focus on motor development to help scholars to build a strong foundation for any sport they choose to pursue. By exploring multiple sports, scholars can experience a range of activities that will help them develop their physical abilities, including strength, coordination, balance, and flexibility.
